History of Our Supplier
The GoodDirections.com story begins in 1982 when John Lodato decided to expand
his regionally renowned relics and restoration business, United Housewrecking,
to establish a company devoted to enhancing the home with affordable, uniquely
crafted products that would reflect a homeowner's particular style and personality.
Combining his expertise in historical design with his son Michael's background
in manufacturing and materials, the two created GoodDirections.com.
They began with
a line of weathervanes and cupolas, becoming the first in their industry to
implement wide-scale production and design. Sticklers for quality and customer
service, GoodDirections.com sought out the finest artists and artisans to create
products that were not only functional but beautiful, soon gaining a reputation
for the finest designs in the industry.
Today, with Michael
at the helm, GoodDirections.com has expanded its line to include a wide range
of decorative yet functional products for home and garden, including popular
FireDomes™, rain chains and garden weathervanes. The company continues
to attract innovative artists and designers eager to lend their vision to the

Our
History
The Copper-Weathervanes story begins with Copper-inc.com
who is a distributor and fabricator of copper cupolas, copper finials, copper
dormers, chimney caps, etc. Often customers added a weathervane to their custom
copper cupola and Copper-inc.com turned to GoodDirections.com for the weathervane
selection. With the excellent products and service provided by GoodDirections.com,
it was a natural progression for us to offer their entire product line. Copper-Weathervanes.com
became an off-shoot of that progression, and we are happy to represent and offer
their beautiful array of fine products.
